Located in one of Warsaw’s most prestigious towers, this private apartment was designed by Kuoo Tamizo Architects with a clear architectural intent: purity, precision, and material clarity.
The interiors rely on a strict monochrome scheme — black and white as dominant elements, with natural light shaping the space. The design called for flooring that could provide a visual anchor without disrupting this disciplined palette. Oakcent’s INK Collection was selected to support the architectural vision. Its darker tone introduces contrast while maintaining restraint. The flooring features a custom matte finish and brushed oak surface, calibrated to minimize light reflection and enhance depth. It enables clean lines and volumes to remain central.
The apartment’s elevation offers expansive views across Warsaw’s skyline. The flooring responds with visual calm and material consistency — grounding the interior while elevating its cohesion.
The floor layout followed a continuous pattern, large in scale and low in visual noise. This approach aligns with the minimalist detailing throughout — integrated storage, hidden transitions, and frameless glass. Oakcent collaborated directly with the architecture team to coordinate installation with built-in furniture and wall elements.
